Murano Sommerso Glass Swan Sculpture, 1950 - 60's, Beautiful Gift

Description

A wonderful large Sommerso glass swan figurine. The amber and blue/grey encased in the clear glass is a very attractive combination. The swan has a long graceful neck, the body curves smoothly, this is a very eye-catching piece of glass sculpture. 

At the tip of the underside of the tail there are either initials or Roman numerals, I cannot decide.

This is a heavy item.

Condition

The swan is in very good condition, just a little roughness on the base edge.

The small black line showing at the back of the swan does not exist, it is a refection in the glass.
