Description

This is a small, elegant, vintage Carlton Ware Bleu Royale serving dish. The blue colour is dark and rich, the gilding offsets the blue beautifully. This is a simple, stylish design. Light-coloured food would look beautiful on this bowl.

Condition

The bowl is in very good condition, just a couple of minute nibbles on the gilding in one area.. There are several small round lighter marks on the two long sides of the bowl. They are covered in glaze so occurred during manufacture. 

The white marks are just light reflection.
