Description

A beautiful glass vase/bowl/centrepiece from the Iwatsu Glass Co, based in Osaka, Japan. This vase/bowl, from their Hineri glassware range, is gorgeous. It is a super amber colour, very elegant, the quality is excellent, it is an extremely nice piece of glass.

The Iwatsu Glass Co. produced an extensive range of centrepieces, bowls and vases during the 1960's and 1970's. 

Sometimes I am not sure whether an item was designed to be a vase, bowl or centrepiece, this could be all of these, or just a wonderful decorative item in a room.

Condition

It is in very good vintage condition. There are a couple of tiny marks on the glass near the base and a tiny rough spot about 1/2 cm from the top edge. The base has some small signs of use, this is to be expected with a vintage item.

The white marks are just light on the bowl.
