Description

A Victorian Bishop & Stonier "Gresham" Flow Blue cheese dome. This cheese dome has a pattern of flowers with scalloped and gilded edging.

The backstamp is Gresham B & S and has RD 78239 impressed on the bottom of the base.

A really beautiful Victorian cheese dome.

Condition

The cheese dome is in amazing condition for its age. The base has three tiny nibbles on the edge. The dome is in wonderful condition, it has a manufacturing flaw near one air hole, this is underglaze. The gilding is in very good vintage condition, a tiny bit is missing from the base edge.
