Description
A fabulous Art Deco Beswick ceramic jug/pitcher. Model 177, this was manufactured by Beswick Pottery in the 1930's. The jug epitomizes the Art Deco style, the distinctive geometric form, the staggered rim and the satin-matte drip glaze.
Condition
The jug is in good condition. There is some crazing, noticeable on the base and the interior of the jug. The interior does show signs the jug was used for flowers. The base rim has several tiny nibbles.
