Description

A dainty Carlton Ware "Rabbits at Dusk" hand painted small serving dish. With the fabulous orange lustre background the rabbits nestled in a woodland against a dusky sky is enchanting. This is a cute and very popular design.

This quaint pattern (4247) was designed by Rene Pemberton and introduced around 1939. 

Condition

The dish is in very good condition. There is a small area with tiny white marks in the lustre between the rabbits and tree canopy, they are under the glaze.

Any other white marks are light on the shiny vase.
