Description
A splendid Victorian glass, Primrose Pearline biscuit barrel. Made by the British company Davidson, it was part of their Primrose Pearline range. This pattern is known as "Lady Caroline" by American collectors. The lemon colour was produced by adding uranium to the mixture. Pearline glass was produced between 1889 to 1914. The interior of the lid is stamped Eagle Plating.
Condition
The biscuit barrel is in very good condition. The silver plate does show some signs of loss but overall is in good vintage condition.
The white marks are just light reflection.
