Victorian Ladies Vanity Box, Fully Fitted, Original Bottles, A Beautiful Box

Description

A superb Victorian Ladies Vanity Box. The box opens to reveal a fitted interior with glass bottles, some with silver-plated lids and manicure tools.  The interior of the lid has a velvet panel that folds forward to enable access to a ‘love letter’ envelope. The base section features a removable tray with additional storage space beneath. The bottles appear to be original to the box. The box has its key, the lock works. 

There are no secret drawers.

Condition

There has been some restoration particularly to the interior in the past, but not excessive. The velvet has been replaced and the base of the box has been recovered. There is very little damage to the actual box, two corners of the lid have slight scuffing.
