An outstanding Wedgwood black basalt Pendant featuring Ankhesenamun. Part of the Egyptian collection issued about 1978. Choose a chain, or I have seen a similar pendant hung on black ribbon, it looked amazing.
Black Basalt is a hard black vitreous stoneware, named after the volcanic rock basalt, manufactured by Josiah Wedgwood from about 1768.
The pendant is in very good condition.
